Saw 'Sinners' last week. It is a phenomenal movie that I highly recommend. No spoilers here.
I think it makes my list of greatest horror movies I've seen. In with Alien, 28 Days Later, Let the Right One In, and The Thing. Movies that use the genre to express and explore things in a way that another genre or medium would not be able to.
It is also a love letter to music and the power of music. Incredibly emotional and moving.
I loved it as well. The musical and cultural references to ancestors.

Saw it opening night with the gf. She is obsessed and has seen it two more times. Convinced her sister (who is so anti-horror media that she hasnt seen any of Stranger Things) to go see it and she's seen it three times.
Not a traditional horror movie, I think there was only one jumpscare, more suspense that leads into a Tarantino-esque culmination.
Excellent flick.
We plan to go see it again. Want to watch in IMAX. Right now, all the IMAX screens are showing the new Marvel movie.
That several weeks after release, they're going move it to the IMAX screens says something about how incredible this movie is and how much people love it.
