When I interviewed Bob Lutz I asked him for some predictions of future classics. He mentioned the Aztek sort of half-seriously as being just weird enough to develop a following someday.
Who ever thought we'd be coveting Pacers and Gremlins? Heck, the VW Beetle is basically the most pedestrian car ever, and it's a collectible.

I can see the Aztek following the same lines the Edsel did. Not terribly valuable- BUT... people still love em.
the only way to have a good looking Aztec is to get the version that came with a Buick badge on it. Tiger Woods was selling them on tv, so they've gotta be alright..
Broken glass, there's a surprise. How many windshields did that Aztec lose over the seasons?
One thing I love about the show is the crap cars that all the characters drive. Even the "nice" ones have sunburned paint. It's like nobody will spend more than $1500 on a car.
Any car that was considered ugly and was generally hated when it debuted will eventually become a GRM darling.

Dear The Internet;
Please don't make these things become cool. I swore I'd never own one. I swore that they were the ugliest things on the road. Don't make me like them. I like hating them! So far, I still think I do hate them. So far...
Respectfully,

Why did I know this thread was going to be about breaking bad? I can think of many movie and TV cars I would rather have than that thing.

Even Jay Leno owns one.
