So it turns out these may actually be of Disney Land, which makes them a bit cooler! That would explain the age of the cars found in the rest of the slides (all 1950s models).

In fact, I'm leaving in just a few hours for a super long vacation down there. Van is all packed and heading out shortly. Super excited.Perfect timimg. New soarin opens this week, new frozen opens the 22nd. Park waits are down, its not quite brazilian season yet.
Yes, we have FastPass for Soarin. Couldn't get them for Frozen, we'll have to get there as soon as the park opens or right before closing. Lots of new stuff here. Animal Kingdom is now open at night and has a new night fireworks show. Star Wars fireworks and light show debuts at Hollywood Studios tonight...we're not going to try to be in that madhouse tonight, we have plans for later in the week. Brazilian tour groups are just part of summer at Disney. We expect to run into plenty of them...and then run away from where they're going. For those who don't know what we're talking about, it's a very big thing in Brazil for 16 year olds (mostly girls) to have their parents send them on a trip to Disney World. They come in tour groups, usually about 75-100 per group. They all wear the same t-shirts and walk through the park singing songs. It's great for them, annoying as crap to the rest of us. They clog lines.
I'm not sure if it's Disneyland or Disneyworld in those photos. Haven't been to the Land, only World. I know World is a mirror of many things in Land. I suspect it's Land, because in one of the photos there's an old pick up that looks to be early 50's vintage. Disneyland opened in '55, Disneyworld didn't open until '71. But some of the pictures look identical...such as the boat. Disneyworld has an exact copy.
Those are definitely pictures of Disneyland not Disney World. So you're looking at mid-50's era pictures.
Great find!
