Apparently he'd only recently had heart problems and his friends were trying to raise money for his care. I was surprised to find out that he wasn't Canadian. I always thought he was, I guess because of SCTV
He was also great as the dad in Freaks and Geeks
Sctv was my jam. So many funny skits. Rest in peace you funny funny man.
