So, my friends dash cam catches this very odd hit and run.
Action starts at 1:00. Volume warning when the black escape moves near the recording car.

I have no idea what caused this incident, but i found it enamoring enough to share.
The driver of the Escape was stopped and released, the driver of the Cobalt was arrested.
Special bonus. The next video is How to make Guinea pig treats!
Aw Crap, it's pet food. I hoped it was Rodent Rotissere.
Yeah, that's about a 9.2 on the weird E36 M3-o-meter.
I'm assuming the guy that took the picture was the guy that rammed him? Some kind of insurance racket or auto theft ring where they take a pic of the plate and then use some sort of access to run it to get the address?
Yes, the photographer was the rammer. There is a rumor floating around that he might be mentally troubled. No E36 M3, huh?
Not expected to be a scam, but that is what makes the situation so confusing.

I talk with a South American guy online who has family with a guinea pig farm...yes they're for food and they're eaten regularly.
I didn't even notice the photographer the first time around. ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/googly-18.png)
crazy.
looks like the driver of the escape had some words with the photographer. He was pulling out when the pic was snapped and he pulled back in to step out for a moment.
Then instead of backing out like he was before.. he pulls forwards toward the photographer's car.
I would almost say that the Photographer was fearful at that point?
The photographer was parked to the right of the camera car. He could have left in almost any direction and chose that one. We think he may have gone that way and just "snapped" when the truck was in his way.
I wouldn't say a "normal person" would be fearful at that point, but I don't think he was "normal".
"Y u takin pictures of mah car? U betta watch yo sef white boy!"
My response probably would have been, "To post on Facebook for the lawls... boy."
In reply to Anti-stance:
Those types are typically all bark and no bite. I once encountered one who threatened to "take yo ass down" after I confronted him for sitting in his car in front of my building and honking his horn repeatedly, throughout the week, at ~11pm, rather than get out of his car and buzz the apartment of whomever he was was after. Laughing at them and walking away is typically the best remedy.
