and hit the concrete, shattering the screen. Still useable, though. Seems to work fine.
I despise the berkleying thing. I'd throw it in the lake if I could. However, I need some means of on-demand communication. I use it for voice and text and have deleted every other function on the thing that I can. It's a Nokia N1374DL model from Tracfone service. I've looked at repair websites but can't find any local that can offer a quote on Nokia phones.
Am I better off:
A. trying to replace the screen myself
B. selling the phone damaged
C. Paying a repair shop to fix it
I bought a cheap Tracfone flip phone in the assumption my Nokia was DOA.
A or C depending on your level of comfort with repairing small electronics. Any general phone repair shop should be able to swap out the screen, but you'll get a better deal if you bring them a replacement screen with the phone vs. letting them source it.

If all you want is voice and text, you're probably better off just buying a new $30 phone.
At the $150 pricepoint I'm not sure that you could spend less than buying a new one to have someone repair it.
That same phone is $99.88 on Amazon right now with free overnight shipping:

most replacement screens suck. They are not usually as good as the original. Also, get a case whatever you end up doing. I have dropped my smart phone so many times and there's not even a nick in the screen. It's in a $10 rubber case, no need for an Otterbox or such to protect against the occasional fall.

I'm checking to see if it's under warranty, but I don't know if my clumsiness qualifies....

Yeah, I kinda figured that. It's on my desk in front of me waiting to be activated.
