I wonder where it's registered at !
the main HF warehouse is in Ventura county and it has a nice Harbor :)

I doubt the boatyard in Holland was using any HF tools to build it .......

Maybe it's just me, but a big boat seems like such a boring way to spend $350 million. Like, past a certain amount you just aren't going to get any additional enjoyment out of it. And you could do so much cool stuff with $350 million. Not my money, yes, but I'm free to judge from here. And I judge it DULL.

My buddy Is a marine tech. Their saying is " good tools in the shop, Harbor Freight on the dock."

That's not a bad idea.

I stopped going as much once the free flashlights showed up.

I stopped going when they quit giving away free flashlights.

It's not just you. I was thinking the same thing. For 10% of that you can have a pretty bad ass yacht. Plus I would think at that size you are limited to where you can go. Maybe I'd look to rent a mega yacht a couple weeks a year.

You say that now but when the Hazard Freight is docked at Monaco for the GP and at Long Beach for Indycar........

Interesting article. I had read about the guy before and I knew he went from selling tools from the back of a car to billionaire. I hadn't seen where his own father sued him for "fleecing the company". That is interesting.

Your statement is misleading. The father founded the company. The father went from selling tools out of his trunk to a sucsessful company. When he retired from leadership he put his son in charge and took a position on the board. One of his son's first actions was to fire his father and have security escort him out. He then began using the company like his own personal piggy bank.

I worked at a harbor freight for about a decade. When I started the pay was meh, but there were benefits. Health insurance (at a minimum wage retail job, before aca) like 13 paid holidays, reasonable hours. like a dozen full time employees ran the whole store. When Eric took over, hours started increasing, a bunch of part timers showed up, paid holidays disappeared, coupon hell began. It was similar to Sam Walton and the decline of walmart when his kids took over.

Evidently I berked up and this was not a sale and was actually a one use coupon just for me. I hope somebody got something good! I can ask if they will be nice and give me another one, but otherwise, oh well...

I just bought these today. I took advantage of the parking lot sale price on the bottom and I used my 25% off coupon on the top box. Then i opened a Harbor Freight credit card for an extra 10% off both. Sweet deal.

Don't forget that they still have coupons on their website for probably 30-50 items. I just picked up a pair of jack stands to replace the recalled ones from a few years back. The 6 ton units I have are just too tall for most jobs. These do have the safety pin, you just can't see them in the picture.
