This project has been stalled for 10 years.

I thought this was a message from my Scrum Master asking if I have any blockers.
Not a bad idea. I'd be more interested in a Garage Project Manager.  Let's get Agile, here.

(Waiting for the Wife jokes..we had to let her go. That's an HR issue)

Well the definition of stalled is malleable.  If you just go look at it every day technically it isn't stalled.  You're on site musing.  Now if you don't go for more than a year then yeah it's stalled. smiley

btw that is a cool big boat and I'm not a boat person.  Ice-breaker?  Modern-day mini-dreadnought? smiley

I mean as far as stalled goes, my dad's Datsun had been untouched longer than that. The boat is cooler though.

The big boat?

Do they want to sell it? Where is it and how much.

That thing could be awesome!!

I posted a new thread titled "Gumption" over at the CMS forum a few days ago but it never got any traction there. My Spitfire project has been stalled for three years and I'm looking for support. I remember a thread from around ten years ago on the topic also titled Gumption.

The boat is at ABD Aluminum Boats in North Vancouver BC, my understanding is the boat was under construction for a US client 08-09. The engines arrived but before the installation the money ran out and the project stalled.

I take a ride down to my local marina every time I get a hankering for a boat.  The hard lot is filled with boat projects.  Some of them haven't moved or look like they've been touched in years.

My house/garage/driveway/back yard is overflowing with projects.  Unfortunately, it's hard to work on them when I'm 350 miles from home for most of the month.   Now excuse me while I go mow my yard that currently resembles a jungle because it hasn't been mowed in three weeks...

In reply to Ian F :

Every marina has those boats, eventually  the marina owner pays someone to come through and crunch them up into dumpsters after separating out any metal or marketable items.
