Because the DVR is in a closet nowhere near the monitor. It was easier than doing the back and forth to the DVR with a flash drive. I'm lazy.

Well... next time, just take the flash drive from the DVR and throw it over to the monitor.

I would have done that, but the DVR uses a 2T hard drive. That would be, like, hard. Remember, I'm lazy.

I was at the local Best Buy one day while they were taking things off of back storage room shelving. The problem is the "back storage room shelving" was on the back of a tall (floor to ~25' ceiling) display wall so all the customers could hear everything. They dropped the boxes from the top shelf, then slid them wherever they wanted to go. THUD-SCRCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHCH, THUD-SCRCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHCH, THUD-SCRCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHCH for about 10 minutes straight. Didn't buy anything that day.
