Ok, I know it's not just me. What songs come on the radio that make you just go faster and faster? Today I was cruising down a wooded, country road, doing about 50 in a 50. Then, Fred Bear comes on. By the time Fred was walking down the trails with Ted (3rd verse) I was doing 75. If Motly Crue, Kickstart My Heart or almost any Scorpions song comes on, well, I hope my radar detector is a good one because I'm gonna speed!
It's not like I hear the song and feel like driving faster. The song comes on, I'm jammin' and everything, and I look at the speedo and have no idea where the extra 20 MPH came from.
So, what songs do that for you?
Cake- Going the Distance.
AC/DC Back in Black
Skynyrd, pick a song, it'll probably do it
VavHalen, Anything from the 1984 albuum
Gimp

Kick Star My Heart - always
Miley Cirus- Party in the USA.
Ummm...I mean, something tough, like Poison...or RATT.
I have a CD in the Jeep that I made to specifically keep me more alert when I'm tired.
Got No Shame by Brother Cane, several AC/DC songs, a live version of Train Kept A Rollin' by Aerosmith, Working Man by Rush, several of Van Halen's more fast-paced stuff, a few songs by The Answer and a couple songs by The Cult.
Pretty much any metal, but for me these are the worst offenders:
-"Jesus Built My Hotrod" by Ministry
-"Bring The Noise" by Public Enemy and Anthrax
-"Blood and Thunder" by Mastodon
-"Black Label" by Lamb of God
-Anything off the BlazBlue video game soundtrack

Really, is it Fred Bear season in Michigan again? Is it again the time of year where they play this song about once every two hours?
Don't get me wrong, I am not hating on The Nugge, just more a slam on "classic rock" station programing.
Anything by Clutch
Borialis - Don't Mean a Thing
And i'm sure there's many other...
Flatt and Scruggs Foggy Mountain Breakdown

if it's got "breakdown" in the name, chances are I will speed while listening to it. There's a tune called "making time" by I think cherry holmes that will make me speed too. Jesus built my hotrod got me pulled over several times a well. Ace of spades makes me mow faster at work. Most of dick dales stuff gets me going as well.
