Man, just once I'd like to see a launch in person. I'm only 145 miles east but I can never get over there due to my schedule. I drove to Titusville in May 2011 to watch the second to last shuttle launch but it was scrubbed sad.

I'll be watching the live stream tonight though. Thanks for posting it adam525i yes

I was lucky enough to see STS-130 launch pre-dawn on Endeavor's second last mission (they delivered the cupola to the ISS). It was something I'll never forget, definitely get there for a launch at some point. I don't know the next time a Falcon Heavy is going up but that is one I'd definitely target for a good show.

All good so far. That's got to be one wild ride. Thanks for the reminder Adam. What an amazing time to be alive.

Great launch.

I ran outside as soon as liftoff occurred and was able to see it from my back porch!

Sorry about the crappy pic. I couldn't get a good pic through the screen.

I watched a night shuttle launch in '97. Life highlight and when Starship and/or SLS launch, We'll Be There.

Here's one my shots. This is from Andy Romano Park in Ormond Beach, so maybe 10 minutes from home and an hour drive from the Space Center. The horizon looked hazy as launch time arrived, but we had a way better than expected view. The flame looked blue as the rocket got up there--very cool. And then there's the rumble that arrives a few minutes later. Photo taken with my little mirrorless Fuji X100V.

We had a two-fer over the weekend, too, as United Launch Alliance sent up a Saturn V on Friday. That was cool as you could see the boosters fall away. Launch time was just before sunset--like 5:30.

This was taken with my iPhone while taking the dog for a W-A-L-K. Our yard has a thick tree canopy, so you need to get to some open sky to see anything from the house. The mail lady was also there waiting for the launch. While waiting--launch was delayed like 5 minutes--of course our next-door neighbor drives by. I waved with a look that said, Yep, just standing here with the dog while staring at the sky.

That was an Atlas V, not a Saturn V. You can tell the difference because the latter makes more noise and goes to the moon :)

SpaceX is scheduled to launch two Falcons within a few hours of each other tonight, but since they're going off different coasts only the ISS inhabitants will have much luck at seeing both.

The speed at which reusing rockets has become normal is amazing. I wish Heavy was used more because those synchronized booster landings are straight out of sci-fi.
