Well, a few of them have made it TO the moon. Landing without falling over seems to be the tricky part.

If you've played Kerbal Space Program, that's one thing they got right! :)
The IM landers are tall and skinny, which is not a particularly stable configuration and the previous one at least they came in too fast and broke one of the landing legs which didn't help either.
