Big shoutout to Stampie who bailed don work to come see if he could help get our trailer back on the road after a tire blowout near Jacksonville this morning. I had everything I needed to fix the situation... except the wheel lock key. (Side note: WHO THE F PUTS WHEEL LOCKS ON A TRAILER?!?!?).
Anyhoo... Mr. Stampie dropped everything at his place of work and brought some tools out to assist in the cause. We finally got back on the road with the help of a local road service operation who had a collection of orphan keys in their shop. One was close enough to do the job with some persuasion.
The GRM community rules. Thanks, Stampie.
You may now return to your regularly scheduled whatever.

Who the f puts wheel locks on anymore anyways? I got my last ones off by a slightly too small hf socket and a hammer. Stupid.
I thought this would have something to do with changing wheels mid-event...which I guess isn't far off
Stampie also arranged to help me with transportation when I was all set to go to the Challenge last year, before a hurricane trapped me at home.
You can always count on stampie. Wether its for parts sourcing help, off color humor, a cheer up, ow wheel related shenanigans.

I was guessing you had to trump some new scheme of Stampie's with new rules. Doesn't he already have rules named after him?

They did save the wheels in my avatar from being stolen a few years ago. Had it parked in a sketchy area after dark for a couple hours after a tint job was done. Somebody started on one wheel and gave up, I drove home with 2 lugs on one wheel without noticing.
I believe he is also the one who converts unlinkable links to linkable links.

Lol it was fun. Good excuse to cut out and hang with a YouTube star. I'm just disappointed that the road service guy wouldn't let me beat on it more with my hammer and chisel.
