Well, I just added a new modification to the Bimmer. A local shop near me was both an automotive and bicycle speed shop. They are closing the doors on the automotive side. For the last two years I have been eyeing the C/F bimmer hood they have hanging up by the ceiling. Made by VIS (not the best, but not the worst) it was ordered and never picked up.. so it has just been hanging there with a $500 pricetag.
I got it today for $250... everything in there is 50 to 80% off until Sept 1.
I know it might seem a bt ricey, but I am going to have it painted when the car goes in this winter. My stock hood has seen better days. It is compleatly covered in a rock strewn rash that must have come from following gravel trucks earlier in it's life. It has has a pair of "pin" inside out dents where somebody closed the hood when something must have been sitting on top of the engine.
Plus the Ti is a bit nose heavy anyway.
