I've bought two cars through carmax and likely will buy more in the future. Excellent experience both times. Certainly beats the time I had the cops called on me at a very shady super crooked small used car dealer. I hope that sumbitch spontaneously combusts.

We bought a car from a long time family friend on a Friday night. I told them to get all the paperwork ready and detail it and I would come back on Saturday.
They insisted it would be quick and not to leave. Then my wife got pissy and agreed we should stay as we were told it would be quick. Since this was a GM employee purchase and it was back in 2003 the computer part was slow.
It didn't bother me when my 2 year old daughter blew chunks on the finance guys floor at 10:30pm as we too were on our fourth hour.
