This reminds me of when I walked out to my truck after class one day and saw that somebody had covered my [candidate name] campaign sticker with a taped on sign for [another party's candidate's name]. I laughed about it, took their sign off, and went on about my day. Some of the people I told about it were way more bothered about than me. They didn't damage my truck or even the sticker in the process of their little stunt, so I wasn't overly concerned.

So I guess it's just nothing more than a way to show one's allegiance to a particular candidate or party then?
Mostly. Do you not show support for anything else?
I do, I suppose. I guess I just don't understand how anyone gets THAT fired up about any particular candidate (aside from a VERY few rare exceptions) or party in today's political landscape.
I just ordered a handful of these:

The theft of anything is still a theft.
I was maybe more pissed that someone stole the lock off my empty shed than when someone got my old leaky powerwasher. I mean really!!! Used some prying tool to break the door then the only thing missing was the lock.
Some people just suck and do sucky things.

In 2012 during the Australian federal election someone made a bunch of spoof campaign signs and stuck them up around Sydney. Baldrick would have had my vote.

Beverly Hills Michigan, Oakland County. It's in my profile. I don't hide names or location online.

I thought he was asking where he could get the Camacho stickers that stanger-<missile posted.

There's a guy in a Minneapolis suburb running for county commissioner. His name is Dave Beer, and his yard signs say, "Vote for Beer."
They're being stolen by the hundreds.
He's got the student vote nailed down - and his signs will NOT end up in the trash Seems like a good long-term strategy.

I could take or leave the signs, but I do like his shirt.

A few elections ago my "Vote Quimby" signs were taken.
I want a Gurney for President sign
Every time the sign is stolen, it should be replaced with a larger one.

LOL nice, there's a political bumper sticker I'd run! The best part is that if anyone who doesn't know asks, you can pretend Camacho is really running and argue why you're supporting him.
"Sure he doesn't know much about anything other than wrestling and boning on camera, but he's strongly in favor of evidence-based policy, he's very honest, and doesn't have any skeletons in his closet...unless you're not cool with boning on camera. Very progressive on the environment and he supports monster-truck-based death penalty reform."
Speaking of bumper stickers...
I went to the junkyard recently and there was an early 60's full size Chevy carcass there with this bumper sticker:
I completely forgot that happened.

Whether or not the candidates meet everyone's approval, Andrian is correct: People shouldn't be stealing stuff from his yard.
What's the solution? I dunno. There's a house near the office with several political signs out front. They also have a sign stating that they're videoing those signs. Is it a deterrent? Maybe? I dunno. Although, really, are they going to look at the tape and say, "Hey, so-and-so stole our signs!"
My take: Be respectful to others and treat them as you'd like to be treated.
Punji pits are only outlawed for declared wars aren't they?
Living within a stones throw from Adrian this has me terribly concerned about two things:
1) Rising crime rate in our lovely little part of SE MI
2) That the other side is moving in
"There goes the neighborhood!" Bus Boys-Minimum Wage Rock & Roll
So, what do you do when the red necks steal your yard sign?
Go full red neck in revenge until you can get a replacement.
My neighbor made this for me as an interim. Yes its massively out of place around here, but it's fun.
Picture not working for me.

Someone probably stole it.
It was bound to start political arguments. I'm guessing it was modded out or pulled at mod request.
Nope, it's a link to google user content, and those don't seem to work.
