took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes (he is 66).
We decided to grab a bite at the food court.
I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him.
The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors - green, red,
orange, and blue.
My dad kept staring at her.
The teenager kept looking and would find my dad staring every time.
When the teenager had had enough, she sarcastically asked:
"What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?"
Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not
choke on his response; I knew he would have a good one!
In classic style he responded without batting an eyelid .....
"Got stoned once and had sex with a parrot. I was just wondering if
you might be my kid."
I'll have to remember that one.
I have actually heard that story before. Can't remember where, but I just lol'd again as I did the last time.
First time I heard it. It's funny.
I read that a couple of hours ago on my phone. I was sitting in the middle of a quiet restaurant.
Many people stared at me. Thanks for that.

That's an old joke. Heard it first about 20 years ago. Whenever skinheads and mohawks were around.
LOL first time I heard it

I remember that one as well. Might have been one of the "Sh1t my dad says" bits.
Didn't Cheech and Chong use something very similar to that line in (1983's) Still Smokin?
The old man in the park sketch?
IIRC its something about berkeleying an alligator in the everglades or something...
Is this a case of whats old is new again?
EDIT*
At the very least this
Chong: You know I could be your daddy
Cheech: you could be my daddy, man?
Chong: yeah, I used to berkeley buffalo.
It was old and hackneyed when someone said it to me 24 years ago. I was the kid with the mohawk at the time.
It was used in at least one movie in the 80's. IF you are a punk rock kid you hear that about as many times as a fiat owner hears "Fix it again tony" which is just enough to set your teeth on edge.
