well, its now in Georgia. Great....
Big front page headline today's (4/30) local scandal rag: 'Deaths expected'. Smaller print above that: Swine flu in S.C.
Duh.
EDIT: It was actually in the 4/29 P&C scandal rag. My bad.

Yup, still here. I'm trying to stay so my kids will know the g'parents, though I hope they will have a job in 10 years when my boy is looking. Anyway, my buddy said the health department called them this morning, followed by the CDC. The HD said the same thing the doc said, it's no worse then any other flu and much more mild than some. It's just so dang contagious.
The base near me has 30 people quarantined for swine flu. They say that the flu has some serious side effects such as an immune suppressant and respiratory problems.

I thought I'd covered this before. Lawyers make, interpret, and enforce laws. Therefore, lawyers are in charge of laws. Everybody is subject to laws, therefore lawyers are in charge of everyone. That's why I went to law school.
Seriously, though, I thought the same thing about a lawyer/insurance commissioner in charge of HHS.
I got home about 7pm last night after being gone all day doing some sailboat stuff. When I arrive, my wife who is a first grade teacher was in bed claiming to not feel well.
She sort of felt like the Achey-Flu.
Today she saw the doctor at 9 am and they had he go to the local hospital to be swabbed in the nose for a Swine Flu test. Results are not back yet.
At this point, I expect that I will not feel well about Weds. (two days.)
