Stumbled across this last night, and thought it was worth sharing.
I, for one, welcome the idea of releasing music videos for songs made many, many years ago.

In reply to Colin Wood :
The surviving members of Joy Division have made new videos for old songs.
This one’s rather haunting.
I read about this video coming out the other day. It sort of develops as the song goes on, at first she just seems like she's going through a boring repetitive life but then you see the cracks starting to appear.
I've always been a Talking Heads fan, I remember my roommate at the time bringing home this album and I dubbed it onto a cassette the next day.
Also, if you're a Talking Heads fan and have never watched the concert film "Stop Making Sense," it's FANTASTIC.

I think it's brilliant and perfectly fits the song, because it doesn't *quite* make sense. Like - there enough coherence and through-lines to tempt you to assigning it some specific meaning, but whatever meaning you might try to give it doesn't make sense when viewed as a whole. You could try to say, "It's a story about..." and point to like 2/3 of it, and that would make sense, but then the other 1/3 would contradict that.
Adrian Belew and Jerry Harrison are touring this summer doing the TH album "Remain in Light." One of my favorites. We're seeing them in King of Prussia PA in July!
In reply to David S. Wallens :
The black and white was a brilliant choice. It adds another layer of intensity to the song.
Cool!
That's not the interpretation that I would have expected... but it's not like I can put myself inside the mind of David Byrne either.
I like the idea of official releases of modern videos for great old songs.
