I had to come up with 5 questions on the theme of Q for a Zoom quiz night. I ran them by my wife and she got 2 for 5. Too hard?

-Queen Elizabeth the is world's longest-reigning living monarch, but she is not the only living and reigning Queen. He competition has been reigning since 1972. Who is she?

-This fictional town is in Rhode Island, and is home to The Griffin Family, the Brown family, and the Swanson family among others. The town takes its name from a local variety of clam. What is the name of this town?

-The Marquess of Queensberry rules were drafted in London in 1865 to ensure fair play in what sport?

-The rock group The Who created a rock opera in 1972. What was the name of the opera?

-In Victor Hugo's novel, what is the name of 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame'?

Perhaps hang on to your answers or PM me so as to make it interesting for more than one person.

I got 2 of 5 also (The Who and Queensberry).  It's pretty hard, but you don't want everyone getting them all. The chance of someone knowing them all seems low.

I know 3 for sure, 2, 4 and 5.. 1 and 3 though are both unknown to me.

I think your quiz is well done. The only quibble I have is that there are a lot more than two monarchies and definitely more than two Queens .

I had 4/5 but crossed out my correct answer in #3 because I thought all the answers had to start with Q. Dang. I wrote "quarterhorse racing" instead. Whoops!

4/5 but they're not fun easy questions.  The Who question is the kind of stupiyid do to watch everyone try and figure out if Tommy has a silent Q.

Did you think Tommy started with the letter Q?  Common mistake.

I got the last four for sure. I think I know the first one, but I'd have to know what answer you were expecting.

I don't know any of those characters you referenced, but I know the name of the clam.

4/5, no idea about monarchy

Ran these by my wife. We both got the same wrong answer for number one (I looked up our answer, don't know the correct one).

She knew the hunchback, and the sport rules question. She got two, I got four.

Edit: these are tough questions, but very good ones. It just depends on who you're playing with.

Fun fact, I knew the queensbury rules one due to Wallace and Gromit, Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

When I saw the title, I was all ready to answer this one...

I vaguely knew #1, but not the specific person's name.

#2 I had no idea about the literary clues but it was easy to guess from the bivalve reference.

#3 I maybe should have known but didn't.  I'm not really a sports fan in general and definitely not that sport in particular.

#4 and #5 were easy.

That was the question that chose the letter Q for me. I was reading something about Queen E and wondered if there were others. Turns out there are not. Monarchs yes, but not Queens. But part of the idea here is to ensure I have no mistakes, so please feel free to find another reigning Queen.

I got them all as fast as I could read them, but I'm a font of useless, obscure knowledge. Didn't know queen of Denmark's but knew she was the other queen.

Sounds like a good cross section of results, so I will go with it. Thanks guys!

Denmark? My wife and I knew the country, we just got her name wrong. Thought it was Beatrix or Beatrice or something.

Ok, so I could have been five for five, with three for my wife.

I'm really good with some trivia, like science, medicine, classical music and history. Some car stuff, except that I've never closely followed Motorsports.

Team sports and any contemporary Pop culture, TV shows or music, no. I'm better as a team member than solo.

I got 3,4, and 5

I feel like I should know 1, 2 seems like pop culture

Overall, I'd say it's a 6.5 out of 10 for 'hardness'

2,3,5 right away.  4 came to me eventually.  I care not for queens (of any sort) so 1 was a no go.
