Based on this, I am renting the entire run of Breaking Bad and starting from the beginning. Never saw it.

I too got hooked on BB via Netflix.
My only advise, as I was given, is stick it out through the first 3 episodes. It gets much better after that. The earliest ones are all set-up storyline.
I thought the first episode was pretty intense. Great show, we are in the edge of our seats here with the final season.
What an awesome parody. Everybody better cash in on Breaking Bad gravy train while they can.
What show can possibly match the writing and intensity that BB has?
As for others...a high point for me was HBO's The Wire. Sure, Sopranos gets all the attention but The Wire was great too.
As much as I want to cancel our cable TV service, I'm glad that we have it for the next few weeks for BB alone.
I "casually" started watching Breaking Bad a few weeks ago. I am about to start Season 5. Damn you Netflix.

Actually got caught up in a matter of 5-6 days and have been glued for the rest!
Saul is getting his own spin off too...
