Damn, they are old... lol
Wow, haven’t heard that name in a million years.
See also: Sounds like Devo is doing their last tour, and that also brings me the sads.

Kix popped up on my Spotify after Boston's first album ended, so i clicked on "about the artist" and learned that (at least in the opinion of the author) Poison's frontperson stole their stage game from the Kix dude.
I grew up down the road and used to see them at the original Hammerjacks back in the day. i still have an unused bumper sticker. just looking for the right stop sign, LOL.
I've been a huge fan since their first album. They are my favorite band.
Yeah, I know what that says about me.
Steve's voice is starting to go, so it is wise that they call it quits. I mean, I think they can all collect Social Security now.
There was nothing like them in their prime. Great stage performers, and a band that sounded just like they did on their albums. I was often disappointed by other bands at how horrible they were live.
A 45 year career is something to be proud of in any occupation.
In related news, Mick Jagger just had his 80th birthday.
Guitarist Brian Forsythe also played with Rhino Bucket. I never knew this until a few years ago when I started listening to RB and thought the guitar playing sounded similar to KIX. Well, duh.
She drinks my beer, she does my 'lude, then 5 o'clock comes and she says...
"Oh, I feel sick, I gotta go hoooooooome..."
And then she threw up on the floor!
I said, "Freeze! Freeze! Go outside and do that!"
Quit throwing up! Don't tell me no!
TELL ME YEAH YEAH YEAH
The version of "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" on the live album is hilarious, and Steve generally does a similar version at shows these days.

It's ok. It really is. I have thought of Kix as a local only (Maryland) band. It looks Kix had more reach than I thought.
