That was my thought as well when Hawaii came up. May have been a good beach to visit 30 yr 'go!

Try the Waipio Valley on the big island. Unless they've built a more accessible road to it, it's probably still empty.

I read an article not too long ago and apparently they are having trouble filling it due to the overall price.
