You can wear college shirts, just as long as they are in state schools. Stupid.

Pretty sure five yearr olds don't get the right to free speech at school. Pretty sure dropping a couple of four letter words still puts you in hot water. And they can make you wear uniforms or whatever. But banning non-state schools seems unfair.

Apparently there are some pretty serious Santana fans out there.

poop wins!
We all should just wear state approved solid color jump suits anyway. Just think of how much time you would save each morning not having to decide what to wear.
Where are the "OU/OSU SUCKS" shirts? There isn't much out in OK, IMO, to be proud of so they have to force it on them apparently.....
I saw this article. I think it's a dumb policy. But there are many similar. For instance, did you know that the "zero tolerance" rule regarding knives in schools extends to the cafeteria, where the only utensil choices are plastic forks and plastic spoons? Ever tried cutting a chicken patty/mystery meat with a cheesy plastic fork? Actually, I have found that the spoon is much more effective at cutting. But seriously, a plastic butter knife?

Heck I remember breaking a tooth on a grade school grilled cheese sandwich
Granted when I was in school even pocket knives were allowed and I could wear what I wanted.

Well..... Most people don't have to be forced into "Bleeding blue" around here.
In reply to Ranger50:
Even during college football season? It is pretty quiet up there until basketball starts up.
In reply to Otto Maddox:
There is a college football season????? Most people around here are for the overpaid pro's and ignore CFB. I'll stick with the Spartans, because it isn't the University of those other guys, and UK, even if they do suck. I can't stand LSU, Bama, or any of the other SEC schools.

As long as you don't suggest any changes are necessary it's OK to complain. It's the changes part that gets you a visit from the black helos.

A kid in my High School literally tried to slit his wrists with plastic knives...locked himself int he bathroom for an hour and went through a handfull of them, but they all broke from the pressure he had to apply to get it to even attampt to break skin. IIRC he didnt even draw blood.
And I got in trouble in 7th grade for wearing a Fudpuckers T-shirt "ya aint been pucked till ya been fudpucked"...great burgers.
A buddy of mine got sent home that same day for wearing a "Lifes a beach" shirt. Good times.
