A FUMING boss allegedly SHOT one of his employees after he discovered they had used his private LOO. Police said the raging manager pulled out his gun and blasted the unlucky worker in the leg after hearing of his cheeky toilet trip. The 27-year-old boss was arrested and charged with attempted murder yesterday after the alleged attack in Durban, South Africa. Cops said the row started when the suspect discovered the worker — a 25-year-old Malawian man — had used a toilet cubicle reserved for management. A police spokesman said: "The man went to the toilet and on his return his employer asked him where he had gone to. "He told him he was in the toilet and showed him the toilet he had used. "The employer then drew out his gun and shot him once in the left ankle." The alleged victim was today recovering at home from his injuries. Cops said: "It seems he underestimated the strength of his employer's feelings on the matter of which toilet he should use."

Private means Private!

Although seeing how many people leave a public restroom I'm not sure that I can fault the guy all that much.

This is my latest bit of toilet humor:

I work in a shopping center/strip mall and six of the stores including mine share a bank of "public" restrooms in the hallway that connects us to the loading dock out back. There is a men's and women's handicap bathroom and they get the most use because they are atually big enough to turn around in and they are well lit. They both have light switches in them that have an automatic setting so that it will sense movement and turn on the light. This is handy but if you are going to be in there for a while you want to turn it to the 'ON' position or it will turn the light off after a minute.

Well, we apparently have alight nazi among us as I keep finding a piece of packing tape over the switch with it in the auto position. Now, keep in mind that the exhaust fan is also tied to the light switch, so when you turn one off you turn both off. Leaving the fan on after certain er, visits to the loo is just common courtesy. Finding this tape applied once I was just "Meh" and I removed it and went on with my day. Finding another piece of tape applied the next day inspired me to write this:

"Oh lord, please guide me as I am now forced to poop in the dark. I have tried but I am not able to poop fast enough to be bathed in your light the whole time. Also, please bless me with non-stinky poops, as I am now unable to leave the fan on after I am done. ~ Amen"

Shooting someone in the ankle is attempted murder?

Oh, the rules are VERY different in South Africa!! I have some friends from there. Two very different white cultures, English vs. Dutch. I'll just leave it at that.
