The car belongs to a guy named Ross Petty. You'll know which car I'm talking about when you see it.

My first thought was "Wait, is Ted Nugent drifting now!?"

If, like me, you looked at the car and then said to yourself "Who is responsible for this!?" it's the guy in the picture right after it. Looks normal, doesn't he? Another blast of confusion, this time in the form of utter unremarkability.

(Note: For those of you fortunate enough to not know, Infowars is the online mecca of conspiracy nutjobbery)

Edit: Also, here is a pic of the side of the car...

I could spend all YEAR shopping in a place like that. It's like a junkyard times a thousand!

(reminds me a lot of India)

I was in Shenzhen a few years back and the shops like that were the coolest thing I saw. Each block was some different specialty - car parts, scooter parts, hardware etc. Most of the shops had stuff to machine their own parts from scratch even though the shop was a one-car garage.

Anything they didn't have they could make. That's a lost art stateside.

Yup, I lived in Hong Kong for a year. Given how small the island is, they manage to stuff an incredible amount of culture in there.

I've heard it's mandatory in china to have any car older than 8 years crushed and buy something newer. Could be bullE36 M3. I have no idea how their import laws work.

A good slice of life in Asia. Aways hard to explain how different some aspects are. Never dissapointed by the ingenuity involved in making a living.

I had to LOL at the guys rebuilding the motor on the ground. Considering all the engine stands and lifts in the world are now made in China and sold dirt cheap 1000's of miles away, you'd think they could find one locally for the price of a pack of cigarettes!
