there are square bales, which are really rectangular, and round bales, which are the big rolled ones. the square ones are sized that you could buy a few and toss them in the back of your pickup, the round ones are the size of a car.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I had heard that the big cylindrical ones start to rot on the inside before horses can get through it.

There is a railroad crossing underpass somewhat like that near me, its odd because most trucks can fit on the south bound side, but due to the grade of both the road and the tracks the north bound side has considerably less clearance. Truck scalping is common there, but not everyday like the bridge in the video.
