I took over my wife's phone and number after she passed away.  She had donated to the Police group and I can't use the "No Call List".  They start off each call by asking to speak with my deceased wife.  So I get a reminder call several times a week that my wife passed away almost 5 years ago.  I've tried everything from nicely asking to begging to be removed from the list.  I know it is useless but my "Jersey" vocabulary, tone and volume comes out every time i answer the call.

I'll agree they are the worst.  Not because of the frequency, but because of the threats.  Routinely they'd make veiled or direct threats of no response if we didn't donate to them.  May well have been true too.  Had the state police state they will not respond to this address and hung up on the caller for an emergency here once.

Cell phones and blocking all calls except those I allow has been great.
