I'm glad I'm not the only one that's seen that. I actually sat through the whole movie to that point ON TV, just to see how they'd do that line.

Funny, I've never even saw the movie but a guy at works is always talking about that horrible dub.

To me there is only one kind of snake, a dead one.

Snakes do an important job. I generally leave them alone besides maybe gently picking up the non-venomous one and letting the kids see them, then putting them back where they were.

That video was hilarious.

I've come across a bunch of snakes over the years while hiking or mountain biking. The only venomous ones were one copperhead and a couple of rattlesnakes. Copperheads are nasty since they just sit there until you're on top of them, and they blend really well with typical dead leaf ground cover you often find on lesser-used trails around here (NY). One of the rattlesnakes I spotted crossing a wide trail at a safe distance. The other one I never saw; I was hiking alone along a ridge with exposed rock and high grass (in other words lousy visibility) and I heard it close and loud. That was unnerving.

Apparently rattlesnakes are making a comeback in NY state. I'm not entirely sure I approve.

I looked at the video and it is just a transplanted German Vindshield Viper----
