Not to make this any more political than it already is, but I would vote for Bill Nye so hard

I think I'd rather vote for Steve Martin.
Who wouldn't vote for a wild and-a crazy guy!?

You mean Bill Nye the Nazi Spy? Shocked.
Back to the OP, I find it very strange that someone is putting up Nonnewaug High School signs between signs for political candidates. What can it mean?
My guess is that's a screen grab from the movie Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Which is an accurate description of politicians.

Good idea, but wrong hairdo. His hair was much shorter in 1988 when he did "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels".
That pic is from the late '70's. So I'll make the same proposal, but suggest that is is a screen grab from "The Jerk".
I'd say that message fits too.

I am going to stay out of politics but I will say Brewster's Millions is a total classic, funny and has a good take home message (which is about money not politics).

Oh yeah that fits too!
Pretty sure the OP sign is a photo of Navin Johnson, he was born a poor black man, worked carnivals and gas stations, found his special purpose, then made it big with a modest invention, but eventually lost it all.
He had a pretty nice thermos at one point.

Yes, true, but he did do good enough that he was able to buy his family a bigger house.

...and he got busy with Jamie Lee Curtis so there is that.
Every now and then a situation presents itself where I'm reminded of that scene where Jamie Lee sprays her armpits with antiperspirant, pitches the can across her filthy trailer and goes at it with Steve.
Good times - good times

Caitlyn Adams, not JLC.
I believe she was going to give him a job of some sort.
