I just watched the Judge Dredd remake, it was awesome!

I'd like to see demolition man made better, then over the top. Just not with Sylvester Stallone while he's buying steroids in the 55 gallon drum.

Ugh. Misses the point in so many ways. Blown up by a car??? Not brutally shot to death by the bad guys? Is this whole movie going to be that "safe"? Not to mention his horrible wounds are OK to put in a trailer for the masses and not gory enough to have to hide away. Are they seriously giving him a helmet that does that that whooosh thing. In the original, the helmet did not keep popping on and off. It stayed on permanently until the start of act 3, when Murphy was 1) reasserting his humanity and thus should have a human face showing again, and 2) was beat up and vulnerable. Symbolic on so many levels and apparently all too subtle for these modern filmmakers. This is why we can't have nice things, because morons just care about how it works on the action figure. It wasn't even horrible. The third one yes, but the first two were actually pretty good.

And I'm not 100% sure, but I think the car that blows him up is a new Taurus.

It's PG13, so I'm assuming it's going to be garbage anyway.

And then then the one glove hand. I dont get it. And they redesigned the suit for some stupid reason. Doesnt make him look like a robot so much. And his wife is in on it. Another dumb point.

Don't like the look of it...the very first scene with delta-winged jet-powered drones flying super-slowly already set a bad tone. His new visor looks like Snake Eyes from the G.I. Joe movie.
