so my wife went in for surgery on weds, for an ovary with cyst removal and a double hernia repair.. surgeon told us it would be a 3ish hr procedure. well, 6 1/2 hrs later and some complications she was out of the OR. so 4 days later and with 10 laperscope incisions in her belly she is finally eating solid food and moving around. her belly looks alot better.. just makes ya thing sometimes about stuff. she had 2 hernias that they saw in her belly. but, guess what they found when they went in. 4 total hernias, and as the surgeon said. her belly was like swiss cheese. she had inerds bein shoved up under her diaphram. and the ovary had a grapefruit sized growth on it with that growth having a baseball sized growth on it.. so fast forwad to frida. the biopsy came back benign. now she just has to pass gas, and eat solid food. and when she has a poop she will be released, be out of work for about a month, and no drivin for around 2 or 3 weeks.. so fingers crossed that she is home tomorrow. but most likely will be monday.. just puts things into perspective....

It's bad that there was so much to find, but it's good that they found and fixed it. Thoughts, prayers, and general good vibes her and your way.

Here's to hoping for a speedy recovery. My wife had some cysts on her ovaries removed about ten years ago. No hernias, though.

I hope she's feeling better soon. My wife is being scheduled for hernia repair shortly - not her first surgery so we kinda know what to expect but not looking forward to it.

Man, that's rough. At least they fixed it all, here's hoping she won't have to see the inside of a hospital for a long time to come!
