I want to point out that this is the third major plane crash in 6 weeks (Denver skid, Hudson River, this). I also want to point out that's it's 3-for-3 with no fatalities. That's damn good no matter how you look at it!
Unless you live in Lubbock, TX (or vicinity) and are expecting a FedEx package, I think you've got nothing to worry about. Lubbock is not really what you'd call a "hub", so I'm pretty sure the plane only had stuff for Lubbock on it.
I recently read something that said despite what most people think, statistically speaking airplane crashes are survivable. I realize that something like 53% of all statistics are made up on the spot, but this article said there's like a 90+% survival rate for things classed as "bad airplane crashes." I believe it was on cnn.com or time.com for those who have the time to search for it.
