New Futurama Holiday Spectacular
Decisions, decisions...
Already got invited to some silly Top Gear watching 'party' or something. Probably won't even have beer, so I'll have to drink before I go.
Good thing the two tuner TIVO should be delivered tomorrow. I will likely be horizontal and snoring at that time anyways.
it also coincides with the playback of the newest episode of The Walking Dead.
I have DVR'd TGA, The Walking Dead, and the Futurama replay at 11.
Both will be repeated later in the week, at different times, so, won't miss either, just see one later in the week. IMO, History will rerun it the same night they rerun IRT's Sunday's episode, probably tuesday night.
I love a 4 tuner DVR. TGA and Brew Masters are set to DVR. Since CN lost the rights to Futurama, I've not really gone out of my way to watch it.
In other news, I just caught an ad for TGA while watching Family Guy on AS.
I don't even have cable. But...I will be in a hotel Sunday night so I will have the History channel and a nice six-er.
It will also keep me away from my other source of cable...the eliptical machine at the gym, where I ususally watch "American Pickers" and "I Shouldn't be Alive".
I plan on watching Top Gear at my friend's topless bar. If the show sucks at least I will have something else to look at.
While I don't expect TG USA to be epic on it's first episode I do hope it will be a good show. It wouldn't be difficult to be better than just about any other car show we've had access to.
It's not as if just because we now have TG USA we will no longer be able to see the Original. This just gives us 2 to watch!
I think it would be unrealistic to think it would be as good as the UK version on the first episode. They've had forever to get the chemistry and stunts right. I'm hoping the US version has the opportunity to gel and become great as well.
Ooh, didnt know TGUSA was then too. I think I am still watching brewmasters though, Ill catch TGUSA laterz.
I decided on TGUSA since everybody will be talking about it and Futurama re-runs twice during the week. Why do they do this though? Bastards...
ratings = advertising money
The main thing that sucks is that the TGA episodes will only be ~45 mins long because of the advertising.
I saw the Top Gear US guys on TV the other day pimping their new show. They replicated some of UK Top Gear's stunts, have their own track but didn't mention any Stig. Bet they have one.
