Absolutely. TImeless, classic and cool.

I'll add Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan--"Time Of The Season" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MWHFrXiq-Y&feature=share&list=PL64E47D587F4DEEC4

Zombie Christmas thread! Bringing this back up since Grooveshark is dead and I wanted to listen to all these today. For some reason Dropkick Murphys - The Season's Upon Us is resonating with me this year.

Entirely traditional (~15th century) but hilarious, The Bitter Withy, as performed by Nowell Sing We Clear.

The Bitter Withy is a carol traced to the 15th century and is based on a story occurring in the c. 1st–4th century Infancy Gospel of Thomas. Verses 2–3 as identified in The Suppressed Gospels and Epistles of the Original New Testament of Jesus the Christ by Archbishop William Wake (1657–1737).

The story of young Jesus asking to go out and play, and upon being snubbed by snobby children in the town skips out onto the water, whereupon they follow and drown. Mary gives him a thrashing with withy twigs, and this is the origin story for why the withy rots from the middle out...
