TIL they change the Credit Rating from 0 - 850 points; now it's 0 - 1,000.

These days, seems more likely they would change it from -300 thru 850, and then offer to raise your rating for $10 per point.

Long, long ago U of Illinois used a grade scale of A= 5.0 until they finally changed to the 'standard' A=4.0. Completely did not really matter, but it was a bummer to start a new semester and find out that while you were away your GPA had dropped by 1 point.
Technically not today: turns out it is a naughty word in British, except a noun rather than a verb, shortened version of the rhyming slang 'berkeley hunt'...

after reading this today I checked and Experian has not changed anything, it still maxes out at 850.
TIL those little plastic tabs stuck to bread packaging are called Occlupanids and there's an entire taxonomic system that categorizes them by shape and maybe color, I'm not sure.
TIR(Today I Realized) that Queen performed their famous Wembley Stadium concert in July 1986! That's nearly 39 years ago!!! We watched it this morning during breakfast and couldn't believe the energy that those 4 musicians/artists brought to the stage. Now I'm 59 years old and appreciate those artists that can grab a microphone, an instrument, sit on a barstool and captivate an audience with their talent. We enjoy listening to what I consider classically talented artists like James Taylor, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, Billy Joel and the like. It's funny that all these years later you know ALL of the lyrics and can sing along to the entire hour and a half concert.
I remember seeing this picture comparing todays horrid music compared to the classics. Not to start a debate, just comparing the 2 different genre of music.
TIL I'mn't. A contraction of I'm and not; from a 4 year old.
Are you teasing that cart again?
I'mn't.

That's great! Reminds me of a similar contraction my then 6 year old came up with. I was trying to get her attention / talk with her while she was singing and playing with some toys..."Stop inter-sturbing me!"

Local rez has the following, but you don't actually pronounce the t
in'it (isn't it?)
is'it (oh, really?)
heck'in'it (no way)

That's not confined to the rez. I say those daily.
There's a Massey Ferguson tractor competing in the Morocco Desert Challenge. I will spend too much of my evening learning more about this exciting development.
TIL: The hose clamp tool that I have is adjustable. It's not that every hose clamp I've tried it on for the last year or so is weird or not compatible with them. I just needed to tighten up the cable a little.
TIL this $23,950 Ute costs $15,230 USDollars. Wonder what shipping is.....

That or someone stuck an AWD badge on their Prius.
And a bunch of Toyota engineers decided to rally one.

...that the likelihood of the zip tie head facing the wrong way is directly proportional squared to the degree in which a person is contorted, the amount of pain involved, weather or not it's visible, and the number of fingers on one hand that are used.

maybe it's covered under "amount of pain", but I think there should also be a factor for how many sharp edges are in the area and whether you're already bleeding or not.
