Today we lost another one over the rainbow bridge. Jen's baby, Cheyenne, our 6 year old long haired German Shephard said goodbye. Twisted bowls leading to a rupture. They didn't think surgery would fix it in time. Even though you know their time is limited its still so hard. We don't have the two legged kids so these are really our kids and right now we're both just destroyed inside.
Please, hug your fur babies for us today. Love them like they love you.
that's the last photo we took of her two nights ago. She fell asleep like that playing with her toy.

Sorry to hear about that. Dozer and Merlin will get a little extra loving today
I'm so sorry for your loss. She sounded like a wonderful pup.

PURE love. There wasn't a mean bone in her body. She loved her mommy so much and liked me as well. We didn't deserve that much unconditional love.
6 is way too young. RIP to a very good girl.
"Good dog" is the highest praise we can give. Cheyenne was a good dog.
Having hosted plenty of four-legged friends in our home over the years, I agree that they're more than just an animal, they truly are members of the family. Rest in peace, pup.

Sorry to both you, Bob, and Aaron. That's a real shame and Cheyenne was way too young for that.
My thoughts are with both your families.
Sounds like that adorable girl was a star that burned bright.
man, no amount of time is enough but that's too soon for a happy girl like that. So sorry man.
Sorry to hear the news. At least the pup was loved.
We lost both of ours in December. The other day I (finally) dropped off the unused food at our local humane shelter. That alone was tough.

Sorry for your loss, and condolences to you and your family. Losing a pet is not easy.
Sorry for your loss, terrible. My girlfriend and I don't have the two-legged kind either, just 3 dogs and a cat.

Sorry for your loss. My Berner turns 9.5 Friday and we know every day is a gift. Treat every day with all of your loved ones, 4 legs and 2, as a gift.
I'm sorry. Tough, I know, especially at age 6.
