Can of sardines (Chicken of the Sea wild caught in hot sauce) on a hotdog bun.
No notes would snack again. Low-effort, high return. Could have used some chopped onion but that would have required effort and why go spoiling a good thing?

Implying a naturally occurring Sea of Hot Sauce (formerly the Gulf of Sriracha but renamed for political reasons)?
Or an environmental disaster like the Great Molasses Flood?
No snacks today for me. I'm currently on the "no food" diet. I can eat whatever I want, as long as it's nothing.

Fixed that for you.

I can't ever think of it as anything but the Boston Molassacre.
Snack today was a handful of roasted peanuts and a couple of those dark chocolate covered butter cookies from ALDI.
We are currently out of the knock-off brand KIND bars..........and personally, I think the knock off Great Value brand ones are better and they are cheaper. Win win.
A leftover deep fried lasagna stick/patty thing from dinner out the other day. Air fryer equipped toaster ovens are a game changer for leftovers.
Edit. One of these.

I just want to take a moment to thank God, or the multiverse, or just my parents that I am human. Other animals wander around eating whatever they can find. WE got creative and started inventing food. Like Crispy Lasagna Fritters. Where, praytell, do I find these?
For some reason, even though I'm hungry in the afternoon, I procrastinate because I'm busy, and then end up eating a snack while I'm preparing dinner...is that weird? Like, I ate a bunch of banana bread and cashews yesterday while preparing salad and a pizza for myself and swmbo

Not sure where that pic is from, but there is a Garden of Olives that will serve these to you, and then give you mint chocolates when you pay them

I thought those might have been from Olive Garden, but the ones on their menu look different:
Well then. I'm going to Olive Garden this weekend.

I do the same thing. I've even positioned new "snacks" that are healthier so that I stop gaining weight while I'm cooking. A packet of tuna instead of chips or something.
Made shish kabab the night before. After layng down the last of a brick sidewalk, I warmed leftover shrimp, red pepper and some beef cubes. Hit the spot.
We've been keeping fresh blueberries, strawberries, and grapes around for snacking (like while I'm cooking), but damn that gets expensive.

I didn't realize people still went to Olive Garden. I don't think I've been in one in 20+ years.

TBH, I really only go anymore for soup, salad and breadsticks.
It's cheap, quick and consistently mediocre.
On the topic of snacks, I have been keeping a jar of Jolly Ranchers at the office for the crew. Looking back, I'm pretty sure the company has consumed almost 10 pounds of sugar in the past 2 months.
I've diversified the snackage in the interest of not having a company full of diabetus. It's not necessarily healthy, but at least it's not straight sugar.
