We were talking about cultural appropriation the other day and I mentioned that I would love to rock a 62 Impala lowrider, but I worry about the message it would send. Bottom line, I am not cool enough for a car like that. Then I saw an old 300D and thought, yep, that's what I want. A 300D with 200,000+ miles on the clock, but owned by a banker in DC that has a flawless body. Add air bags, drop it in the weeds, and cruise it low and slow. Then I found this photo and it did not help.
The lowrider guys I've met wouldn't care what color you were, just that you appreciate the cars.
It's my automotive guilty pleasure. I would rock a lowrider, especially a bomb. 3 wheel motion EVERY corner.

I plan on having lace on the roof of my Opel in tribute.
The "VIP" styling on older jags does it for me

I would absolutely rock the berkeley out of that.
As if I did not want an old Benz anyway.
