I'm beginning to think this may not be actual photography, but rather some sort of image manipulation. I mean I've never seen a weasel near that big, never mind a woodpecker.
no good @ photoshop... maybe the Woodpeckers landing gear is the rear suspension from a Miata.....

Weasels can (and do) eat things bigger than they are. That baby probably ambushed the bird on a tree, but didn't count on getting a ride.
