Reason for the pic; I told my sister-in-law about the incredible Auomobile Quarterly set that Purple Frog gave me and she said her dad had the same set (he collected and restored wooden spoked cars - he had a two story barn full of them). So, every Christmas she's going to send me other car books from his collection. The top book is also from the Automobile Quarterly group. Purple Frog, because of you my book collection will grow every year.

House smells like the roast we are eating in forty five minutes. Three of us streamed the same church service on three different devices....my first ultra modern Christmas Eve!

we weren't allowed packages (outside of 'local post', or letters/bills/magazines) from March through September, and it's been restricted by number and weight for September through December. We've been real conservative on that, because exceeding the limit could have disciplinary consequences. And focused on getting stuff from the SleepyGrands for the Sleepykids.
So, no 'haul' pics from us, aside from one of the few items that made it over to the commissary:
