I may have to suspend my “No Tom Cruise Movies” ban long enough to rent this on a streaming service.

K-log doesn’t come cheap!
Just ask Borgnar.
Also, I saw somewhere that he's going to do a new version of "Danger Zone" for this flick.
Being on an aircraft carrier from 87-91 this was almost required viewing, like every single deployment at least 2-3 times. The number of idiots that went out and bought crotchrocket bikes, and almost died, was staggering.
I might have too much PTSD to actually enjoy this.

As mentioned in the Bullet thread, there is a huge difference in a movie when a car guy makes a car movie, and when a plane guy makes a plane movie. Now, Tom is not the director, but you can be damn sure he has influence in how it was shot. Heck, he even has good areal scenes in his Sci-fi movies.
That's kinda what I thought. I felt like Top Gun focused more on the pilot and less on the machine.
I betcha Tom has a new love interest. I'm thinking Kelly Mcgillis won't be quite right for the part anymore. Her grand daughter, maybe...

I was wondering about Charlie to. I wonder if she inquired or was asked?
And based on the trailer, this movie may best be experienced in imax theaters (mostly for the jet scenes not any possible shirtless volleyball scenes lol).
