Probably. Could probably drive that for a year and not lose money on it.

Yeah had one for a year and half. Not exactly the most reliable car in the world.
Another R8 failed inspection with 8K miles this time. Seriously the clutches and fuel pumps and tips are made of paper or people cannot drive.

Well... it is a BMW.
It's probably a bit of both. I don't know what I do differently, but I seem to have no problem getting 100-200 or more out of a clutch. Other people I know - notsomuch. I know folks in the MINI world who are lucky to get 50K. But I think for many of them it's their first manual transmission car and no one really teaches them what to do and what not to do. Who knows about the fuel pumps. I chalk that up to being a German car. And "Bosch" really being German for "Lucas"...
