All I can offer is don't assume any chew toy is indestructible. I learned that one quick with our Blue Heeler mix we got from a shelter. I think the other half is alligator.

There are no indestructable dog toys!
Our breeder suggested we buy the dried cow ears ( NOT pigs ears ). The Beefeaters brand cow ears are about 11 inches long, non greasy, don't stain carpet, are easily digested, and last awhile. A box of 100 ears is about $100 but well worth it. Make sure you buy the ones that include the ear hole cartilidge as this is most dog's favorite part.
The dried ears also help the dog's dental hygeine.
