Any buddy else watching this show? The writers are nuts!
Haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet. Looks funny though. In for more reviews.
I was excited after seeing the previews but I tortured myself for 2 episodes before I deleted it from my DVR list. It's just too dumb and contrived. I bet I would have found it funny when I was 12. Sherri Shepherds character, as an example, has a rare disorder where she doesn't recognize peoples faces at all, and will forget who you are moments after meeting you. She does, however, have the ability to remember your feet, and will be able to identify you years later by your feet. Stupid? Yes, very stupid
Wanted to like it....but didn't. Dumb and they're trying too hard.
3rd rock from the sun was funny though.
Prosopagnosia is estimated to affect up to 2.5% of the US population. That's close to 8 million people. This severity is rare but not unheard of. I would guess one of the writers is somebody or knows somebody.
8.5 million people in the US have Down Syndrome for comparison.
My mother has face blindness. She could not pick me out in a crowd. Mainly she recognizes people by their voices and what they are saying.
I like the TV show, but it was likely cancelled 7 months ago, and they are just showing what was shot. I do like the little red head though, so I'll keep watching.
