Hey where is my apology from Sperlo from a couple of weeks ago from from lag raping me in Turn 1!?!
I keed I keed.
E36 M3 happens, I have been involved is some E36 M3ty stuff that ruin someone's race before. It's not a good feeling to know you have berkeleyed someone else up. It feels worse than your car being berkeleyed.
Racefink, unfortunately, has suffered more incidents than anyone else I have run with. Seeing him show up weekly is awesome considering his luck running with us shiny happy people.

Lot of "Chrome Hornin' the Back Marker" last night! lol!
Driving was really suffering due to multi-tasking. . . was in an arguement with SWiMBO at the time.
Can I get an ammendment for a PI bump to a race tranny, please? Still trying to get the hang of shifting and not enjoying it. Was playing around with it last night after the race. Set ratios closer and a little more linear. Does not seem to be an unfair advantage, just makes up for one of the two seconds.
Went out and bought the wireless headset today so I can communicate now.
1 - race mission is a pretty serious upgrade, and is definitely not B-spec legal, both a performance upgrade and weight down
2 - our rolling starts have been hugely successful at reducing big pile ups and giving the lag some time to phase itself out, also they seem popular, I for one would strongly object to changing to a standing start
Rules is the rules for this season, and I don't see the need to change anything up. I hate the rolling starts, but they make sense. Sorry I couldn't get on last night. 70+ hour weeks are killin me. No practice time. Watched a movie with mama last night. I'll try to whoop yalls' monkey asses at RA next week.
The race trans also would give the option of changing ratios to suit the track. Flywheel and clutch would give better results than the race trans anyways. Race clutch shortens up the shift time quite a bit. The R class cars, a lot of them are quicker in manual mode over manual w/clutch because the cars are more stable on the shift that way.

2 weeks in a row: After getting bumped hard in a pass that could've happed a lap later, then ridden off the track, I somehow manage to center punch the rolled car laying in the middle of the track and never recover.
Friedgreen: REALLY sorry I bumped you, man. Was angry and a little red misty when I realized that pit stops don't cure engine damage. Totally my fault. Very sorry. I jammed the brakes to give you the proverbial wave-by. Congrats to fink on another win.
I'd love to see the replay if anybody's got it.

Pitstops do cure engine/driveline damage IIRC, but they don't cure body damage. Bad aero kills ya on the straights.
Everything would have been OK for me if my stupid controller hadn't disconnected (TWICE!) again. Even with the extra stop for my downshift that should have been an upshift on Lap 3, I was cutting good times (for me ) and was actually catching someone after I'd made the mandatory stop. I was on the way to at least finishing where I started before the controller farted off. Grrr.
Oh, and sorry about the comms, folks. My cheap Chinese headset decided to fail not long after the disconnects.
None of these things excuse my bumpin yee in the butt in turn 7. Really sorry man.
Are you sure about the damage thing? I went from a 1:47.1 to consistent 1:53's.

Yeah, pretty sure. Even when you get your motor/driveline back in the pitstop, the way Forza models aero means that even if you're in a stock body without aero aids..if your sheetmetal is crunched, you're hanging in the wind. That's why I got back up to speed after my missed shift pitstop, but never got there again after my controller disconnect (straight off from 10a, nose & sides completely trashed).
Yep, bad body damage can kill your lap times pretty thoroughly. Would've been fun to run with you guys tonight, but may have been more fun to spend time with some friends I may only see once a year. I should be back next Saturday, assuming Assassin's Creed doesn't have me sucked in too bad.
Poop - that was me that gotcha early. Sorry but you slowed a bit more than I expected and I had no choice but to try to get inside. Didn't work and dinged me too.

FTFY
That sucked.

You had another 20 laps to pass me anywhere BUT 10a, but yeah, it's all good or whatever. Our lap times were really close. We could've had a good, long, epic battle instead of a bump & run. Not pissed because I had a shot at winning or anything. Pissed I had to spend 20 laps on auto-pilot in last place at my home track.
It did indeed suck.
