Saw this today and it looks like good economic news, though maybe bad news for those of us looking for $2000 challenge fodder. (then again... whatever car people *currently* have could be the Challenge fodder. CarMax doiesn't seem to pay a lot for old trades from the 80's and 90's (understandably so - cars pushing 30 and 40 years old!)
Around here, I was hoping to snag some on Craigs from "desperate sellers," that I could buy a few, and resell next. year. However, there has been no real fire sale at all. The extra $600 govt is giving people per week, has held the dam from breaking, locally.
So there haven't been any deals to be had around here.
New cars on the dealer lots are pretty thin around me as you can't get any to replace what's been sold.
I'm not seeing many deals right now.
On a related note I've noticed gas prices jumping up about $.10 every couple days....
