We already had a place rented and paid at the beach (Jersey Shore! like every year) and anticipate that things will be quite a pain with social distancing and the restrictions with eating, etc.
If I needed to pull the trigger on something the RV idea and a cabin near "nowhere" would be at the top of my list.
My current vacation plans are tentative at best. Both in August.
A trip out to Carlisle for the Import show - which shouldn't be too much of a problem since the travel is in-state - assuming the event still happens, which I give a 50:50 shot.
The following weekend is a biking trip to Vermont, which is a little more questionable. Right now, VT is requiring out of state visitors to quarantine for 14 days before going outside to do anything. Since we only have the rental house for a week, that would be a problem. It seems this is supposed to end on June 15, but I haven't found anything definitive yet. VT seems to be among the most cautious of states in the region so it wouldn't surprise me if the rules get extended again. That said, the economy is also somewhat dependent on out-of-state tourists, so a lengthy lock-down may not be economically feasible.
If you plan to travel out of state - make sure to research the destination state and what rules it may have in place.
