$75 deliver? Fine. Put coins in a big, dirty knee sock and pay the berkeleyers in change.

You can cut granite yourself with a skill saw using a wet/dry diamond blade. You might have to have someone help you by spraying water directly on the blade, if the water goes clear or you see stone dust you need to adjust where the water is sprayed. Just lay out the stone then when you start you have to plunge the diamond blade down through the stone as straight as possible. If you get a good clean start and keep the cut straight anyone can cut stone. It kind of depends how thick the stone is, over 2" is a pain to cut because the blade needs to bottom out through the stone. The 2" blue stone I cut was the most difficult cut I've had to do, marble and granite cut pretty easily. I just made a table a few weeks ago.

I actually can get some pretty clean cuts in stone this way. Just take your time and don't cook the blade and you can DIY. Oh and take your time cutting the stone you might have to muscle the saw a bit. The diamond blade is only 20$ and a great investment.

Oh and cutting stone make a hell of a mess, stone dust gets everywhere.

Yeah, while they were "trying" to put something together so I could transport my piece, I was watching another fabricator work. He was just going at it with a 5" angle grinder. Hell, I could do that!
