I've driven 2 of them, one of them in anger on a track, though this was back in the late 90's. After that, every other car felt like it was driving on sand. SOOOOOOOOO much torque, so brutal, so much grip, so extreme, yet the sound of that engine is like two UPS trucks racing. Still though, as much as I like it, I can't see using an early RT/10 as a DD....one of the later GTS coupes would be OK, but the early cars are almost like TVRs, but on crack, and driving on the sun.

Never driven one. I did have an SRT10 Ram for a week though, I loved stompin' on it, just to hear the brontosaurus roar.
The stock exhaust has the same problem that my other affordable 90s dream car - the Lotus Esprit V8. There are better systems for them. The Viper won't sound like a crossplane V8, but they can sound pretty good.
Man, I just saw an early red RT/10 parked on the street in downtown Wilmington today while I was at the Rims on the River car show and it looked great. Just like the ones on the posters in my room when I was younger. Just gotta wait for those GTS's to drop a little in price...
